The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia issued and put into circulation the collector coins "Vladimir", "Natalya" and "Olga" from the "Angel’s Day" series (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 106/15 and 121/15).
The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia issued and put into circulation the collector coins "Vladimir", "Natalya" and "Olga" from the "Angel’s Day" series (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 106/15 and 121/15).
The collector coin "Vladimir" has the following features:
- On the obverse, there is an angel leaning over a child at the moment of baptism. There are colorized, gold stars around the angel and three burning candles around the child. In the central part of the coin obverse, there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia. On the right-hand side, along the perimeter, there are inscriptions: "Republic of Macedonia" and "100 Denars" in the Macedonian language as well as the year of issue "2015".
- On the reverse, in the center of the coin, there is an image of St. Vladimir - Vladimir I, Grand Prince of Kiev and of all Russia, an outstanding political ruler in ancient times, who converted to Christianity in 998 and Christianized Kievan Rus. At the bottom of the coin, there is the Chapel of Prince Vladimir in Luzhniki (Moscow) near the Moscow river. On the left-hand side, there is a castle - St. Vladimir’s symbol. The castle is separated from its reflection in the water by the inscription "Vladimir" in Macedonian. On the right-hand side, there is a Swarovski crystal resembling green jasper (St. Vladimir’s lucky stone) as well as the inscriptions: "Angel’s Day" (in Macedonian) and the hallmark "Ag925".
The collector coin "Natalya" has the following features:
- On the obverse, there is an angel leaning over a child at the moment of baptism. There are colorized, gold stars around the angel and three burning candles around the child. In the central part of the coin obverse, there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia. On the right-hand side, along the perimeter, there are inscriptions: "Republic of Macedonia" and "100 Denars" in the Macedonian language as well as the year of issue "2015".
- On the reverse, in the center of the coin, there is an image of Saint Natalya of Nicomedia - early Christian martyr (beginning of IV century), the wife of the martyr Adrian of Nicomedia. At the bottom, there is the church of the Holy Martyrs Adrian and Natalya, located in the district of Dobryansk (Russia), built on the banks of the Kama River. On the right-hand side, there is a family of hedgehogs - a symbol of the Natalya’s name. On the left-hand side, there is a red Swarovski crystal - presenting Natalya’s lucky stone ("bloodstone"). On the right-hand side, there is the name "Natalya" (in Macedonian and Russian), and on the left-hand side, there are the inscriptions: "Angel’s Day" (in Macedonian) and the hallmark "Ag925".
The collector coin "Olga" has the following features:
- On the obverse, there is an angel leaning over a child at the moment of baptism. There are colorized, gold stars around the angel and three burning candles around the child. In the central part of the coin obverse, there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia. On the right-hand side, along the perimeter, there are inscriptions: "Republic of Macedonia" and "100 Denars" in the Macedonian language as well as the year of issue "2015".
- On the reverse, in the center of the coin, there is an image of St. Olga, Equal of the Apostles, the wife of Kievan Great Prince Igor. Princess Olga was the first female ruler in Russia and the first ruler of Rus' to convert to Christianity. She was canonized as the first Russian saint of the Orthodox Church. On the right-hand side, there is a leopard - St. Olga’s symbol. On the left-hand side, there is a yellow Swarovski crystal – presenting Olga’s lucky stone (amber). On the right-hand side, there is the name "Olga" (in Macedonian and Russian), and on the left-hand side, there are the inscriptions: "Angel’s Day" (in Macedonian) and the hallmark "Ag925".
These collector coins are made of silver Ag925, weight Ag – 28.28g, fine silver content – 26.16g, in an oval form and dimensions of 30 x 50mm, proof with pad printing and a Swarovski crystal insert, dimension – 2.6mm.
The price of the collector coins "Vladimir", "Natalya" and "Olga" is MKD 3,500.00.
The collector coins issued by the National Bank are a legal tender in the Republic of Macedonia.
