The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia issued and put into circulation the collector coin "Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia" (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 181/14 and 188/14).
The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia issued and put into circulation the collector coin "Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia" (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 181/14 and 188/14).
The collector coin "Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia" has the following features:
- In the central part of the coin obverse, there are gold color images of St. Faith (with a cross), St. Hope (with an anchor) and St. Love (with children). Below the three saints, there is an image of St. Trophime church (Eschau, Alsace, France) where the relics of St. Sophia are kept. On the top of the coin, there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia and inscriptions, "100 Denars" and "2014". At the bottom of the coin, there is an inscription "Republic of Macedonia" (in Macedonian), as well as the hallmark "Ag 925" and the coin weight "31.1g".
- On the coin reverse, there is a digitally printed image of the three saints – St. Faith, St. Hope and St. Love, depicted as young girls. Behind the three saint girls, there is an image of their mother St. Sophia (depicted in relief). All the saints have their names minted in the Macedonian language and there is also an ornament along the coin rim.
The collector coin is made of silver Ag925 , weight Ag - 31,10g, fine silver content - 28,77g, in a rectangular form and dimensions of 30 х 45 mm.
The price of the collector coin "Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia" is MKD 3,800.00.
The collector coins issued by the National Bank are a legal tender in the Republic of Macedonia.
