The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia hosted an international forum on IT-infrastructure in central banks, in the period from 31 May to 3 June in Skopje
The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia hosted an international forum on IT-infrastructure in central banks, in the period from 31 May to 3 June in Skopje. The forum was perceived as a venue for open debate on the IT infrastructures of central banks, where participants shared experiences about the current setup of the IT infrastructure in central banks, as well as future perspectives.
The Forum was opened by Fadil Bajrami, PhD, Vice Governor of the NBRM, followed by discussions related to IT infrastructure, such as:
- disaster recovery infrastructure,
- mobile device management infrastructure,
- cloud strategy and offer,
- infrastructure consolidation strategies,
- configuration management database (CMDB),
- software development infrastructure, and
- privilege identity management.
The forum was attended by 20 representatives from several European countries: Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Finland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo. The National Bank was represented by the IT Department staff as well as representatives of other organizational units of the National Bank, whose activities are closely related to the IT infrastructure.
