Three employees of the National Bank are winners of international awards for the best research paper.
The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia is pleased to inform the public that three of its employees are winners of international awards for the best research paper.
Two employees of the National Bank are winners of this year's award, "Olga Radzyner" of the Central Bank of Austria, for the best research made by young researchers in the field of European integration. Winners of the award are:
Jane Bogoev, PhD., employed in the Financial Stability and Banking Regulations Department, for his paper: „What drives bank lending in domestic and foreign currency loans in a small open transition economy with fixed exchange rate? The case of Macedonia“, and
Rilind Kabashi, PhD., employed in the Research Department, for his paper: „The cyclical character and determinants of fiscal policy in transition countries“.
The Deputy Manager of the Central Banking Operations and Foreign Reserves Department, Igor Velichkovski, PhD., was awarded "Dr. Dragoslav Avramovic," award at the competition for the best analytical/research paper in the field of macroeconomics and finance, organized by the National Bank of Serbia, for his paper: "Assessing independent monetary policy in small, open and euroized countries: Evidence from Western Balkan".Governor's Office
