The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia is pleased to inform the public that today, 29 October 2014, the Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, Dimitar Bogov and the Governor of the Croatian National Bank, Boris Vujcic signed a Memorandum of cooperation and exchange of information in the area of monetary policy and the implementation of macro-prudential measures.
The Memorandum provides for the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of banking, the application of international principles and supervisory standards for prudent banking operations, aimed at further development and strengthening of financial stability and promoting sustainable economic growth in both countries.
This Memorandum is the result of many years of friendly relations between the two central banks, leading to deeper cooperation and successful implementation of projects and initiatives that will arise in the future.
