Today, at the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, in the presence of the Governor of the NBRM, Mr Dimitar Bogov and the executive officer of the Association of microfinance organizations, Mr Goran Lazarevski, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in the field of financial education and inclusion.
Today, at the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, in the presence of the Governor of the NBRM, Mr Dimitar Bogov and the executive officer of the Association of microfinance organizations, Mr Goran Lazarevski, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in the field of financial education and inclusion.
The necessity for improved access to finance within the process of strengthening entrepreneurship and innovation for building sustainable, competitive and market-based financial system, is realized by strengthening the financial knowledge of users and their inclusion in the contemporary trends of the financial system.
This Memorandum establishes the cooperation between the National Bank and the Association, in the field of financial education and inclusion.
The cooperation will be realized in the field of policy-making, research and analyses, joint activities to raise public awareness and promotion of financial education and inclusion, organizing educational activities and exchange of relevant expertise.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed as part of the activities in marking of 20 October, the European Day of Microfinance and the International Credit Union Day.
