Press release of the NBRM
Today, the Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Petar Goshev, adopted a Decision on establishing a Council of Expert Advisors composed of external associates who will work on the preparation of expert analyses and expert opinions in the area of monetary policy together with the experts employed in the National Bank.
The aforementioned Council consists of:
1. Ivan Ribnikar, Ph.D., professor at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, a distinguished expert in the area of monetary system, monetary policy, banking, international monetary and financial issues and business finance;
2. Velimir Bole, MSc., Economic Institute in Ljubljana, a renowned expert-analyst in the area of econometrics, monetary and fiscal policy;
3. Taki Fiti, Academician, professor at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, with a long-time scholar engagement in the area of contemporary macroeconomic concepts and policies as well as the bases of the economy and the entrepreneurship;
4. Vladimir Kandikjan, Ph.D., professor at the Law School in Skopje, with a long-time scholar engagement in the area of finance;
5. Goce Petrevski, Ph.D. professor at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, expert in the area of economic development, economic growth, investments, international economy and economic analysis;
6. Vladimir Filipovski, Ph.D., Assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, expert in the area of capital market, securities and portfolio management, organization and technique of Stock Exchange operations and bank management.
In September 2004, several other experts will become members of the Council of Expert Advisors.
