Banks' and Savings Houses' Weighted Interest Rates, outstanding amounts and newly agreed and Deposits and Lending Interest Rates of the NBRNM


Interest rate statistics include data on weighted interest rates of banks and savings houses on outstanding amounts of loans and deposits, newly agreed loans and deposits, newly granted loans with collateral, newly granted long-term loans, overnight deposits, revolving loans, overdrafts and credit card loans. Also, time series on weighted interest rates on the outstanding amounts of loans and deposits and time series of weighted interest rates on newly agreed loans and deposits are published.

Weighted interest rates that refer to outstanding amounts of loans and deposits are divided by the following criteria: sector classification, purpose of household loans, original maturity and currency.

Weighted interest rates that refer to the newly agreed activities for granted loans and received deposits are divided by the following criteria: sector classification, purpose of household loans, amount of loans to non-financial institutions, initial period of fixation of the interest rate on loans, original maturity of deposits and currency. The newly agreed activities include all new agreements concluded in the published month.



Latest achievements:


In September 2020, the average interest rate on the outstanding amounts of loans registered a monthly fall of 0.03, amounting to 4.70%. The average interest rate on the outstanding amounts of deposits registered a minimal monthly decrease of 0.01 percentage point and amounted to 0.98%.
In September this year, the average interest rate on the newly granted loans increased by 0.05 percentage points on a monthly level and amounted to 3.99%. The average interest rate on newly received deposits equaled 0.76%, amid monthly growth of 0.22 percentage points.  Read more...
